Cambodia Adventure

What customers told us:

This motorcycle trip was as expected. It is difficult to think about improvements, as it  depends on the group. Those with the least experience often set the pace. I learned at lot and wanted to put that into practice. This sometimes led to  irritations. But that's the price you pay for it. You are with a group and that has its limitations but also its good sides such as camaraderie. There were several highlights: eg taking bumpy  off-road tracks (it was getting better). During such a trip there are many great days, ordinary and bad days, but it cannot always be perfect. What did you think about  your  tour leader? That's a good question. I can only say, Mick, I would give a 10, which is the higthest mark. I have observed him many times, he can go into  politics (just kidding) Mick is great!"
Pierre Berckmoes - Cambodia Adventure - February 2020

It was an adventurous motorcycle trip but sometimes annoying because of the poor quality of the bikes. Despite that I am satisfied. Mick the tour leader solved it all. Highlights were the markets and the people. Mick the tour leader arranged it well, I would immediately join  another motorcycle trip with him. Point of Improvement install a GPS on every motorcycle so that you are not bothered by the dust cloud from the motorcycle that is driving in front of you. In addition, I would adjust a number of long monotonous rides.

"A special motorbike triip  in country with 'character'. I drove alone and I used the 'advice tracks on GPS' from Marco. There was often a special path  during my journey through the country. The horrors and cruelties of the Khmer Rouge regime are often seen and made me think. Beautiful things included the river dolphins in Kratie, the green mountain scenery in the northeast (Ratanakiri) with lots of sand bites fairly dry offroad trails, the border with Laos and Cambodia, the visit to the Angkor Wat 'temples where I saw beautiful temples. I often felt alone in the world while driving through mountain forest. Driving becomes impossible after rainfall. Many friendly and helpful people. The Honda XR 250 Baja was fine however I had some challenges as it was an old motorbike such as broken km-counter (no fuel gauge so), reasonable oil, malfunctioning lights. The local agent always helped me out. A beautiful adventure for riders who seek adventure in a country which is developing fast. For me a must! Marco and Kerstin realised my special requests, customised my trip and actively contributed. "

"The trip was wonderful. Highlight for me was to go with my motorbike on a floating raft to the other side of the River and next driving through the mud slog:) Brecht the tour leader was excellent. It was a unique experience to make such a trip with him. Contact with the office was smooth and well. "

"A unique journey. Every day there was something special. We drove seldom on asphalt roads due to the local knowledge of Brecht, there is usually a different path found. Unfortunately we had various repairs to the motorbikes, as they were not very good from the start of the trip. Brecht the tour leader was good. This was his first trip as tour guide. My suggestions are keep an eye on the group any time, check that the group is complete especially when driving challeging roads. It was a fantastic trip! "
