What customers told us:

"This motorbike trip was great, I enjoyed it. The entire journey was from beginning until the end full of highlights. Our tourleader Geert is excellent. Contact with the office in Amsterdam was fine."
Bert Bos - Peru Inca - October 2019

"This journey to Peru was amazing. The motorbikes were perfect, the hotels great, and the route was special. Our tourleader Diedrik was very good.”
Judith Nelissen, Joost, Walter, and Kees - Peru-Inca - July 2019

“Beautiful region, well organised. Motorbikes in technical good shape and suited for the purpose. Had expected more unpaved roads. A lot of tarmac which made this tour not adventurous. Hotels were very luxurious, Lars an excellent tour guide”
Claes Dick de Jong - Peru Inca -  December 2015

“Really beautiful tour, hotels, meals, all first-rate except the flight: insufficient leg-room.”
Binne Vreeling - Peru Inca - December 2015

"Information ambiguous. Really enjoyed the tour! Machu Picchu was the highlight.”
Annemieke de Jong - Peru Inca - December 2015

“Contact with office was good. The tour was superb and phenomenal. Highlight was the trip through the desert, Moray, trip from Pisco to Puno and lamas crossing the road. Tour guide Lars is first-class, knows the roads and the area, and where to find the best places to eat. Points to improve on: add Lars’ contact details, also departure from Schiphol and arrival in Peru were a bit disorganised.”
Dimphey Menssen Jong - Peru Inca - February 2014

“A great and varied tour paying attention to lesser known places and regions as well as the touristy highlights. Alternating asphalt and off-road, indicated difficulty rate accurate. There’s no need to improve on the tour itself, but the information in the booklet could be better. When it comes to road developments, things move fast.”
Jan de Bruin - Peru Inca - October 2013

“Highlights: Discovering the contrasts of the country. First time introduction to South America and its inhabitants. The group feeling amongst the participants. All the sorts of animals I saw there for the first time. The vast landscapes.”
Patricia Zwierski - Peru Inca - October 2013

“Truly fantastic. Enjoyed it enormously. Can’t stop talking about it. Points for improvement: A bit less Pan-American Highway and a bit more authentic jungle – only, don’t know if that’s achievable. The connective flight Lima/Arequipa presented some problems. Like more precautionary warnings re bike riding en route, and with hindsight an off road/riding-on-gravel course may be advisable.”
Randolf de Leeuw - Peru Inca - September 2010

"It was a fantastic tour; lots of variety.”
Jos van Kempen - Peru Inca - October 2013

"Terrific tour, saw loads, loved the rides, everything well organised. Highlight was the group; from start to finish we all had a good time and did everything together. Very remarkable, considering all the different personalities. Lars and Eduardo were fantastic guides, compliments to Lars for his relaxed attitude towards his bikes.”
Mariska Props - Peru Inca - September 2010

“Something I really appreciate is the attention you gave to the fun in store for us. The booklet with extensive descriptions of what we’re going to do was excellent. Fabulous trip, beautiful country. remarkably varied, never a boring day. Compliments for Lars and definitely also for Eduardo. Lars found great routes, I would have preferred less main roads myself, but I can imagine that these are mostly hard to find. Eduardo is really enthusiastic when he tells about his country. The knowledge that man has! Fist and foremost huge compliments, it was an excellent trip and well organised. Lars does everything within his power to make things run smoothly.”
Paul Verkuylen - Peru Inca - September 2010

“Contact with Motor Trails as always very good! The info received beforehand is clear and comprehensive. Any questions get a quick and clear response. My compliments!! The Peru-Inca tour was truly fantastic! Enooormous variety, in environments, landscapes, roads and temperature!! The ride through the desert was exceedingly cool!!! Also, the thousand hairpin bends were a super ride! After every bend another fantastic view! And it was all one great adventure that I enjoyed enormously (again)!!! Thanks to Lars, our tour guide, we were incredibly lucky with the weather - the few showers we did catch were not whilst riding! Every day we were given clear info about the trip ahead, including advise re clothing! That was really helpful, even if the temperatures in one day were very wide-ranging.  We had a really nice and mixed group, a lot of fun amongst ourselves. Of course we did plan a reunion! For now, I and my 2000 photos are still enjoying everything all over again!!! As far as I’m concerned more off-road would have been good. And I really had to get used to Lars in the beginning, he does have a style all of his own (read: different) when it comes to tour-guiding. He gives you a lot of responsibility for yourself, which is something, I guess!  Motor Trails: Thanks a lot for another MEGA-SUPER-MOTORTOUR EXPERIENCE!!!!! Till next time! ;-) ;-) ;-)  Regards, Rian.”
Rian de Ruiter - Peru Inca - September 2010

“Am totally used to the Motor Trails concept and contacts of course, so find everything runs perfectly. Peru is all I expected it to be. I found the way the tour was organised professional, but this time also somewhat ‘distant’. On the other hand I found the trip had good variety, which includes Peru’s fantastic scenery. Moreover, I was very pleased we had Eduardo (support car), I think he and Lars make a good duo.”
Annemieke Nennie - Peru Inca - September 2010

“Best holiday I ever had. Riding motorbikes is definitely the big passion of my life, and all I could do was enjoy the trip. The scenery, the different roads, and the group too were fantastic. Lots of conversations with the tour guides (Lars and Eduardo), both really nice people, even though I handle the cuba libre better than Lars, haha. On to the next trip!”
Remko de Vries - Peru Inca - August 2010

"Well yes.... I could tell a long drawn out story here, but I’ll sum it up in one word: BRILLIANT!!!! I’ve had the journey of my life, every day again new impressions / excursions / experiences. In short: 1 big adventure. I’m sure this will be repeated some time (Tibet / Nepal is high on my wish list) but I also know for sure that I’ll go back to Peru one day. What a fantastic country!!! Contact was also first class. I registered (early) online and received my confirmation in good time. Besides that, I attended a well-organised information evening and received all necessary info in plenty of time through the post. So everything was well taken care of, especially the program booklet is really handy (it got used a lot during the trip)”
Maurice van Gorp - Peru Inca - August 2010

"The tour was Superb, a tremendous experience! The guide as well as the driver of the support vehicle (Eduardo) knew and told us a lot about specific points of interest and Peru. An unforgettable trip!”
Andre Maranus - Peru Inca - 2010

“At the info afternoon, we thought, with hindsight, that may be the off-road riding was talked about too lightly. Inexperienced off-roaders have a tough job. It’s a beautiful trip, varied and very diverse. We really enjoyed it! So in the future we will use Motor Trail’s services again. Though I do think that some of the advice on clothing could be given (a bit) more forcefully, to prevent a lot of discomfort.”
Jaap and Linda De Rooij - Peru Inca - 2010

“Contact is always pleasant and good. The trip is very special, enormously diverse scenery, many encounters with local people, first class tour guide, good but also very basic hotels (with some exceptions, in which case, for instance, no good toilet facilities, shower, ie warm water). Daily program long enough, good number of rest days, motor okay, though 400cc for 2 people too light, especially in the mountains with regards to altitude (resulting in shortness of breath), all in all a nice and adventurous trip.”
Frans Gruben - Peru Inca - 2009

“I’ve always found contact with Motor Trails, both personal and over the telephone, a good and pleasant experience.  The journey in Peru itself was fantastic in all aspects. The bike riding is very demanding for the riders, it pays to be a well experienced rider!”
Steven Tan - Peru Inca - 2009

“I am very pleased with the way things were handled especially as I registered at the last minute for this trip, compliments. It is a spectacular trip, for me the best one so far, and Lars is a terrific and good tour guide and organiser. I feel very positive about Motor Trails!”
Ferdie Klein Goldewijk - Peru Inca - 2009

“Contact was good, information okay, sufficient explanation on paper, advice also good.  It is a very beautiful country with very lovely people, and very hospitable. I have never experienced such hospitability. And there are plenty of beautiful ladies for the bachelor. And there is enough variety in the bike rides. You can really go for it or enjoy an amazing view somewhere up high. I definitely plan to go back there, there’s plenty yet to be discovered. Lars, our guide, gets a big thumbs up.  He is a very experienced guide, tells you lots about the country itself and really gets on with people, a top guy.”
Martijn de Beurs - Peru Inca - 2009

"Contact was first class, immediate response and resolve to my queries.  Destination: Magnificent, totally lived up to our expectations. Travel management: Lars was the perfect tour leader, as guide, motorcyclist, in the way of enjoyment and knowledge of the country. Support from the Jeep was good. The bikes were fine, all we asked for we got (bike was lowered, everything that needed to be done was done before we set out). We are very pleased and are already looking forward to a new destination.”
Lucien and Sabine Heyligen - Peru Inca - 2009

“A wonderful, well-managed and varied tour.”
Frank van Rooij - Peru Inca - 2007

"It is a very impressive trip, an extraordinarily unique experience. We really enjoyed it enormously.”
