“Contact with Maaike beforehand was good. Only thing that wasn’t clear to me was whether the group would be gathering at Schiphol or we should all check in and fly out as individual people. When it came to the actual riding the trip fulfilled all expectations. The difficulty was increased gradually as the week progressed. The apartment complex where we stayed was good. For me no real points for improvement. The incredibly beautiful daytrips besides, it was Cyprus itself that was the surprise for me. Had no clear picture in my mind of the island before I went, but was pleasantly surprised by it’s beauty and diversity. Tour guide Geert is a man with a good sense of humour, and is an excellent bike rider. He really takes the (in our case small) group’s abilities into account. He also knows the area like the back of his hand. He always comes up with alternatives, it’s all in his head.”

“Contact all first class and up to scratch. Good booklet provides anticipatory fun. Tour is fantastic! Routes full of variation, beautiful little roads, challenging rocky trails, small beaches. Geert always knew where he was going (or was good pretending that he did ;D). Relaxing; went your own speed, challenging from time to time, but always under control. Accommodation was excellent, homely, clean. Lovely hostess, warm welcome. Improvements ... pfff .. difficult ... erm .. may be a little less oil in the pan for the fried eggs at breakfast .... No, in all honesty, I can think of nothing worth a mention! Highlights enjoyed were the forest trails, tricky paths with loose sand, the ride on the beach, standing on top of the mountain. Enjoying brilliant moments every day! Tour guide Geert was a sociable guy. Good sense of humour, always up for a laugh, but serious when needed. Experienced guide, always right on time without clock-watching. Phenomenal biker! Knows how to convey things clearly to everyone. He loves it when the people in the group enjoy themselves.”

“Had little contact during the planning, but that was fine. The tour was awesome. Superb trips, brilliantly managed by tour guide Geert. Accommodation was good. Highlights: the trips were all challenging and had enough technical difficulty, the bike rides themselves were the absolute highlight for me. I can’t really pick out a trip that definitely stood out above all others. Tour guide is totally fantastic. Geert is experienced, has a sense of humour, knows how to bring everyone along for the whole week without being in your face or pushy. I would love to do another trip with Geert. Levels of individual riders were quite diverse, may be it could be made clearer what level of experience is needed to do this trip.”

“Could possibly have done with a bit more maintenance for the bikes, apart from that Honda 250XR’s are excellent, enough power, light and manoeuvrable. Highlights: The 3rd day, when we rode through forests all afternoon. We took advantage of the rest-day by hiring a boat and snorkelling in the Blue Lagoon, nice change. Not to forget Kalimera, the owner of the hotel who busied herself all week to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A fantastic woman.”
