Cyprus Off-Road Weekend

Day 1 - Home - Paphos - Polis
Flight from home to Cyprus with transfer to the motorbike rental company in Paphos. We'll get on the bikes straight away for a short ride from Paphos to our apartment in Polis  (good idea to go easy on the alcohol during the flight). The luggage is taken to the hotel in Polis by van. After sorting out the rooms, there is time for a short talk about the trip.

Day 2 - First day trip
We make a long fun day with a lot of variety in surroundings and routes. We pass traditional villages and have lunch in a local restaurant on the coast. We ride on dirt trails through the mountains and take short, tricky stretches of sand along the coast. Then climb one of the higher mountains in this area with beautiful views over the coastline. We have dinner in the small town of Polis.

Day 3 - Second day trip
Today's trip takes us to the Troodos Mountains. A beautiful area with a lot of variety. Challenging paths meander through the coniferous forests and on nice cobblestone paths we drive through deserted Turkish villages to the coast. We visit Kykko Monastery and drive back to Polis on forest trails.

Day 4 - Third day trip, flight back
Today the beautiful and whimsical Akamas Nature Reserve is on the program. An exciting and strenuous tour full of surprises. If the political situation allows, we will try to cross the border to Turkish north Cyprus. We drive back to Paphos at the end of the afternoon, we fly home in the evening.
